GKV - Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya

Gurukula Kangri (Deemed to be University), commonly known as GKV, is a historic public institution situated on the banks of the Ganges in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Founded in 1902 by Swami Shraddhanandaji, the university was established with the distinct vision of reviving the ancient Indian Gurukula system of education as an indigenous alternative to British colonial education policies. It is fully funded by the UGC and the Government of India, operating with a trusted 'A' grade accreditation from NAAC.

The university is unique in its structural blend of traditional Vedic literature, Indian philosophy, and culture alongside modern technical and professional disciplines.
